The Chicago-based Ded Kitty Hed exploded onto the punk scene in late 2003 with a series of low-budget, raw-boned shows in the Black Cat Club. They quickly became the favored opening act of local talent Zhufti on Tap. Their exotic blend of punk, emo, industrial, and folk influences will grab your soul and inflict a wedgie...WITH ATOMIC FURY!! The band performs exclusively in cat costumes, giving the ladies (and ten percent of the guys) an eyeful while they give the audience an earful. | |||
Hailing from Milwaukee, Unrepentant Unicorn caught the ear of Ded Kitty Hed drummer Shirtless Bass. The two bands teamed up for a few shows in the greater Chicago-Milwaukee metro area in early 2004. UU brings a more traditional punk style to the mix, hammering out chords as fast as their hands can move. Fans know to expect the unexpected during an Unrepentant Unicorn concert...members will often bring fireworks and live animals up on stage with them. A combination which has only resulted in tragedy twice. |
