31May05 (Monthenor): Well that weekend sucked. My pretty little laptop's hard drive decided to eat itself on Saturday night, so most of Sunday was spent coaxing vital files off onto the closet server. I also managed to sit on my glasses...not to the point where they broke, oh no, that would have a clear path of resolution. No, they're just slightly bent, so I can use them but they're off-kilter on my face. Of course, every place that could rectify either of these problems was closed on Memorial Day.

There was one bright spot. I spent most of the weekend drawing a fan comic for Pastel Defender Heliotrope. I'm not going to post it here because if you really wanted to see PDH you'd be on the forums there already. Also it's slightly embarassing. I'm glad I did it, and I'm proud of it, but I can also take a step back and look at the mishmash of "obscure webcomic" and "DragonBall Z" and "closed temporal loop" and say wow, that's one step removed from a Fandom Wank.

Given a script and full-time hours to work on it, I can do about three grayscale comic pages per day. That's not bad, right?

01Jun05 (Monthenor): You know what's irritating? When you link to a site and then they choose that exact day to bring the site down for maintenance. I have no doubt that as long as fandom exists, Fandom Wank will return, but...just damn.

And hey, new Fark VideoEdit in two weeks. There's actually one due Friday but I'm sitting it out, inspiration did not strike this time. This next one, though...hoo boy.
